This visual art is a combination of colored pencil drawing and painting. It is made up of numerous selections of paper. The depiction reflects Chief Seattle in a Puget Sound Longhouse. This art is all about this great Northwest chieftain of the 1800s and his spiritual gifts.
Chief Seattle was known to sing a traditional native spiritual song known as "The Power of Thunder". The two side figures are depicted holding thunderbird rattle figures. Each white dot represents the rite of a particular spiritual working song. This extraordinary piece of art takes us on a journey to a place of distant memories.
