Treasure
Vi Hilbert is holding a basket woven by her late aunt Seusse. Her aunt wove this basket 145 years ago. The design on this cedar root basket is of the northern Puget Sound, a mountain design. Vi was about 85 in this photo.

Sacred Friendship
I drove Vi to one of my sacred sites, a place where I have received visions and occasionally talked to my maker. I told Vi, "Hold your hand out very still, and wait till you see what happens." We are at 1700' elevation, overlooking the Hood Canal. This picture is 100% unrehearsed.

A Boy and His Dog
This is Malachai and his dog during the Quileute Days Parade, 2009. A candid picture. Words are inadequate to describe the deep emotions of love for a boy and his dog.

Eternal Flame
While standing in Arlington National Cemetary at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, an internal voice told me to walk to the flame. This is JFK's Eternal Flame monument. While laying on the grass in front of his memorial monument, I became overwhelmed with emotion.
This picture is 100% original, with no editing, on 35mm film. Many people see multiple figures in the flame.

One Power B&W
There are many ways to know the one who has given us life. This photo was taken in the eaerly morning in August under an eagle's nest on San Juan Island. The San Juan Islands are located in Washington State. They are the original home to the Lummi Tribe and the Samish Tribe.
